In honor of Michael Baisden's "I Love Black Women" Tour, I thought i would shed some reasons on why I love Black women.  I love all women to be sure, however, my Sistas have been uplifted and degraded moreso than any ethnic group; so i feel it is my duty as a Black Man to pay homage, love, and respect to God's Gift to Me and the world....The Black Woman

My Sistas, I honestly do not know where to begin in paying homage to you.  So, I guess i will start with the Genesis of Black Women in my life...My Mother.  It seems to me that I remember the pushes of love that has brought me into being.  The love's embrace from a woman so pure and sweet.  At that very moment, I was taught a lesson about Black Women.  They can Love in the midst of pain...Also, they are the bearers of life

My Mother and Sister were the prime examples to me of what Black femininity is.  Strength, Self Love, Love for others, Wisdom, and Divine...a pure reflection of God(ess).  I challenge the world to find women of such stature in their lives as well.

Sistas I challenge you to study your "HER" story....you are more than Nicki Manaj...More than entertainers.  You were (are) Queens, Scientist, Lovers, Wives, etc.  I want you to be able to see yourself how I see you...as Divine.  Albeit, not all of you are in you Divine mind...shit some of you outright lost your damn mind (but i still love you...i gotta be honest.)

Your brown skin reminds me of the earth.  Which promotes the idea that you are the original woman, and none of us can life without you.

Your teeth remind me of 32 steps to heaven

Your smile reminds me of heaven itself.

Your voice is the what God created Music after.

Your hair are the antennas that connect you to the Universe

Your different shades are the original rainbow

And Your heart is the treasure that all seek after....

I hope that this make a million and one sisters smile and know that at very least one Black Man knows your worth
